Located in the beautiful gated resort of Emerald Island just minutes to Disney (3.5 miles), our 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom Disney themed villa will be sure to make your vacation enjoyable.

The space

Welcome to our home. A Disney-themed 4 bedroom, 3 bath villa with sunny south-facing swimming pool, spa, and games room, all within a 12-15 minute drive to Disney World! Located in the gated resort community of Emerald Island Resort, just south of I-92 and Animal Kingdom Park. There is 24-hour guard-gated security, club house with a fitness center, sauna, community pool, and a poolside Tiki bar for when you need to unwind. There is a nature walking trail, as well as a beach volleyball court, tennis court, mini golf course, rentable bikes, and a basketball court. A basketball and tennis rackets and tennis balls are located in the garage to use at your pleasure.

Our home is 100% smoke free and pet free and parties are not permitted. Ashtrays are provided for use on the pool deck. Anyone found to be in violation of these may be asked to leave the property immediately without compensation or any refund of funds paid. A $500 fine will be applied if evidence of smoking in the home.

Noise violations will be issued by the county to any guests who do not observe quiet hours after 11pm.

Disney-themed rooms means your family can be immersed in the magic all day, in the privacy of your own vacation home. There's even hidden Mickeys throughout! Best of all, the excitement and thrills of Disney World is only 3.5 miles from your door.

Bedroom #1 - Primary Suite
Aladdin themed king size primary bedroom with ensuite with walk in shower. High quality pillow top mattress. Direct pool access through both sliding doors in the bedroom, as well as a door inside the ensuite.

Bedroom #2 - Primary Suite
Mickey themed king size primary bedroom with ensuite with tub/shower combo. High quality pillow top mattress. Brand new carpet installed and brand new bed, bedding, and furniture. Table lamps conveniently have two USB ports for charging your devices.

Frozen themed bedroom with queen size bed.  Brand new carpet installed and brand new assortment of dresses for playtime (Sept 2021)

Bedroom #4
Star Wars themed bedroom. Bunk beds - single over full. Fully decorated in all the magic of Star Wars and includes games and outfits for dress up. The ceiling is painted black with glow in the dark stars. Brand new carpet installed and brand new Star Wars outfits.

The two primary suites are situated on opposite sides of the house for privacy, which makes it ideal for two families or a set of grandparents, to make it an extra special family vacation. The children share a 3rd bathroom, and is decorated in the ever-popular Toy Story theme and has stars that glow-in-the-dark.

Our home is child and baby friendly, smoke-free, pet-free, and wireless internet and long distance telephone calls to Canada and throughout the US are provided.

Enjoy breakfast in the fully equipped Mickey kitchen, pack lunch for the day, and you'll still be in the parks faster than if you had to eat on resort property. The kitchen dinette seats 4, and the formal dining area seats 8. Outside on the covered lanai you'll find a propane gas barbecue and a patio set that seats 6, for those looking to spend as much time as possible enjoying Florida's beautiful warm weather by dining poolside. 2 brand new seating arrangements have been placed on the pool deck, ensuring there is enough room for everyone.

Please note that while we provide a BBQ at no charge, we do not maintain propane. You may need to swap the tank at Wawa (5 min drive) for about $25US. Cleaners are not responsible for cleaning the grill. Please clean the grill after each use in preparation for the next guest and to discourage ants.

After the parks, come home for a refreshing dip in the fenced, screened-in private pool, or soak up some sunshine on the loungers. Finish off your day by watching one of the many movies on the 55” smart television or play the family-friendly games on the Nintendo Wii. 2 Brand new sofas have just been placed in the living area (Sept 2021) giving plenty of room for all to enjoy. Challenge the kids to a game of darts, or Disney-themed board game, or sit back and enjoy a movie in the home theatre that seats 8 and has a newly installed mini split that will allow you to enjoy hours of fun even on the hottest of days. 2 new arcade games have also been put in the games room for hours of enjoyment for all. Head over to the clubhouse and watch the kids play with new friends in the pool while you sip a margarita at the poolside Tiki bar, perhaps making a few friendly acquaintances of your own. It's hard to run out of things to do! Home is child and baby-friendly.

We provide a portable pack 'n play crib, highchair, booster seat, strollers (single & double), pool safety fence, life jackets, and outlet covers. There are no window blind cords in the bedrooms. Please supervise children. Please keep in mind that our property management company does not service or clean any of the extras that we have provided in the home like strollers, high chairs, boosters, etc... It is provided by us to help make your stay more comfortable and accessible, so please clean after each use. We rely on our guests, if they choose to use these items, to maintain them and put them back where they found them. If you are in need or would like to use any of these items during your stay, please inquire before you arrive to ensure what you need is available.

The home is equipped with toiletries to get you through until you find time to get to the stores. This includes shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bag, etc... Please note that there is only 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom and small, single use toiletries. Walmart and Target are both within 3 miles of the resort to get all the supplies you need to get you through your holiday.

We believe in treating all people equally and respectfully. Our home is LGBT friendly.

Our rates includes pool and spa heating (heated to 83°F respectively between October and April). May to September pool/spa heating will incur an additional nightly fee of $25 and a minimum of 4 consecutive nights are required. If you require a warmer pool temperature that 83°F, an additional nightly fee will apply. Please note that if you decide to add pool heat after check in, it will take up to two days for the pool to reach the full temperature.

There is also a barbecue for use at no cost - (propane supplied by guests, if needed). Property management are not responsible for cleaning the BBQ. Guests are asked to clean after each use. A deposit of $50 will be required for use of the BBQ which will be returned after your check out if grill has been cleaned. If grill has not been cleaned, you will lose the deposit paid.

Baby-friendly home includes portable crib/playpen, high chair, booster chair, step stool, potty seat, double/single strollers, plastic dinnerware. Electrical receptacle covers in kitchen drawer; it is the renter's responsibility to ensure they are in use. The home does not have any stairs, and there are no cords or blinds in the children's bedrooms.

The pool area has a safety fence, 2 life jackets for little swimmers. Children should be supervised at all times in the pool area. When the pool is not in use, please ensure that the safety fence is installed and locked. There are lots of children in the area and we want to ensure that all safety measures are in place to avoid any potential tragedy.

Our home is self sufficient. There will be a small bar of hand soap at each bathroom sink and a roll of toilet paper in each washroom to get you started. Supplies and toiletries you will need for your stay are not included and is the sole responsibility of the guest. Walmart and Target are both located within 5 minute drive of the resort.

There is a safe that can fit an average-sized laptop located in the living room under the television. The clubhouse has an internet cafe, free coffee and tea, and offers business services (fax, printing etc for a fee) and local attraction information. Uber and Lyft are available for transportation. We are LGBT friendly. NO firearms are permitted inside the home. Loss of damage deposit may result.

THERE IS NO OVERNIGHT PARKING FOR RV'S/TRAILERS. Call Handy Mini Storage, Davenport for off-site parking.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Effective September 1st, 2021, all guests must register with Emerald Island Resort in advance of their arrival to obtain a keycard to freely access the resort during your stay. This keycard will allow you unlimited access in and out of the resort for the duration of your stay without having to get in general the security line. You will need to get in the general security line upon your first arrival to the resort to check in and finish the registration process. The cost of this card is $20 and is non refundable. Please note, if your party has multiple vehicles, a key card is required for each vehicle. These fees and rules are set by the resort of Emerald Island and we have absolutely no control over them.

Guest access

The entire home as well as outdoor screened-in south facing pool area is exclusively accessible to all guests.
