Located in the beautiful gated resort of Emerald Island just minutes to Disney (3.5 miles), our 7 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom themed home will be sure to make your vacation enjoyable. Attention to detail throughout!

The space

Completely renovated from top to bottom. 7 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom home located in the 24 hour gated secure community of Emerald Island - located just minutes from Disney. Immerse yourself in the magic of Disney as you enter the home. There is a virtual concierge located in the entrance that allows you to contact us, check out restaurants and shopping in the area, and much more.

You will notice black Mickey Mouse silhouettes throughout the home. There are some that are obvious and some that are 'hidden'. Can you find them all? Enjoy the hunt with the kids and see who can find the most.

There are a total of 32 'hidden' Mickeys in the home. Some who can see quite easily, and some that are hiding in plain sight. If you need clues we are here to help!

Our home is 100% smoke free and pet free and parties are not permitted. Ashtrays are provided for use on the pool deck. Anyone found to be in violation of these may be asked to leave the property immediately without compensation or any refund of funds paid. A minimum $500 fine will be applied if evidence of smoking in the home. Noise violations will be issued by the county to any guests who do not observe quiet hours after 11pm.

The entire home is themed throughout - right down to the glassware and dishes. We have put thought into every single item put in the home - to ensure all our guests feel the magic.

Upon entering the home there is a modern sitting area with a 8x10 Mickey rug centred in the space. There is also a desk in the corner for those who need to connect to social media or do a little work while on holiday.

A beautiful palm tree and landscaping can be seen through the large double windows that fill the room with light.

Adjacent to the sitting room is the dining room - a long, modern white table that can seat up to 10 guests. There is a large 10 foot Mickey framed mural on the wall that is breathtaking.

The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for a great holiday. There are Mickey and Minnie coffee mugs, Disney drinking glasses, Mickey wine glasses, and Corelle Disney dishes. There are many pool-safe plates and glasses for guests to use while relaxing outside.

White glass Bespoke appliances by Samsung enhance the black and white colour scheme - with matte black cabinets and beautiful white quartz counters. There is the full collection of Drew Barrymore's Beautiful small appliance line - including a large air fryer, 4 slice toaster, kettle, blender, and hand mixer. All appliances are digital which add a beautiful, modern touch. In the large pantry, there is also a Mickey Mouse toaster for the kids, and the young at heart.

There is a modern, glass dining table located in the kitchen that seats 6 for quick breakfast meals, or to seat the kids while enjoying a more formal dining for the adults in the dining room.

The living room has a double storey, open 20 foot ceiling that is framed by Disney artwork by Thomas Kinkade in a gallery setting. 3 black, modern sofas positioned in a U shape frame the large 65" smart TV. Disney art can be viewed from every position in this room.

Off the living room is a half bath with a beautiful, vibrant Mickey Mouse wallpaper.
Samsung washer and dryer is located on the main floor near the entrance to the movie theater / games room.

Safety in the home in very important to us. We have equipped the home with outlet covers, there is a retractable baby gate located on both the top and bottom of the stairs, 3 fire extinguishers, and there are no window blind cords anywhere. The pool deck has a safety fence with an automatic, self closing door as well as pool rules posted. All dressers are mounted to the wall to prevent tipping. Although the home has these safety features, they are NOT a substitute for adult supervision.

The entire garage, off the laundry room, has been completely renovated to be a 12-seat movie theatre and a arcade all in one. 12 comfortable recliners face a large 86" smart TV complete with an enhanced sound system. A popcorn machine with a welcome bag of gourmet popcorn will make all those family movie nights complete. 8 video arcade games with comfortable seating complete the room and ensure that everyone has something they will love.

Baby items:

The home has 2 highchairs, a booster seat, 2 pack n plays, a baby bouncer, and a stroller. All equipment is not cleaned nor inspected by our cleaning staff - they are provided to our guests on an honour system. If you use it, clean it and put it back where you found it so future guests can also take advantage of what's offered.

7 themed bedrooms:

Cruella themed king sized primary with ensuite. Ensuite includes a large corner soaking tub, separate shower, toilet room, and a double vanity with stone counter top. There are 2 tall wardrobes on either side of the 6 drawer dresser for ample space for all your needs.

Queen sized

Mickey themed bedroom located at the front of the home with a large palm tree framing the large double window. A large 6 drawer dresser sits below a 50" smart TV and there is a large double door closet for all the needs.

Frozen themed double twin bedroom, complete with 2 four poster beds. There is a large mural and an open closet with dress-up outfits for all the little ones. There is a 32" smart TV that is wall mounted.

Star Wars queen size themed bedroom. The black and white themed is very modern - including a light saber ceiling light fixture. There is a tie fighter desk and chair as well as a large Star Wars mural that encompasses one complete wall. A mounted 50" smart TV completes the room.

Minions themed double twin bedroom complete with a 32" smart wall mounted TV and a large mural on one complete wall.

Harry Potter themed double twin bedroom with full sized mural and a wall mounted 32" smart TV.

King sized primary Mickey themed bedroom with ensuite. It has a beautiful accent wall with a Thomas Kinkade painting. 6 drawer dresser and a large walk-in closet give ample space for all your needs. The ensuite features a double vanity with stone counter and a shower/tub combo.

There are an additional 2 full bathrooms on the upper level. One is Mickey themed and the other is Star Wars themed. Both have a floating modern vanity and a shower/tub combo.

There are ample towels - for both bathroom use and pool use. Please use the towels as they were intended.

The grey towels are for bathroom use only! Please use the blue and green pool towels for the pool only. Make-up towels are also provided.

Please do not use any other towels for makeup removal. Any guests upon checkout inspection to be found to have used any towels for makeup removal will be charged accordingly.

The pool area can be accessed through the kitchen dining area or from the Cruella primary suite. The pool fence is erected for safety of both our guests and the public. Please leave the pool fence up at all times. We have installed a pool gate that makes it simple to enter and exit the pool area. The gate is self closing and can only be opened by pulling up on the black handle and pushing/pulling the door at the same time. We have designed the space so that there is ample room on the pool deck when the pool fence remains up.

The pool dining table can seat 10 guests and there are 5 sun loungers. There is a small seating area near the spa and a large seating area on the opposite side. The pool is south-facing - meaning it gets sun exposure all day.

There is a BBQ provided on the pool deck that is to be left in that position - any guest moving the grill will be charged. Propane is not provided but may be left from previous guests. If propane is empty, you can swap tanks for a full one at Walmart or Wawa (both within 10 minutes of the property) for approx $25. The BBQ is NOT cleaned by our cleaners but it is inspected after each checkout. It is every guest’s responsibility to ensure the BBQ is cleaned after each use. If you leave the BBQ dirty, you will be charged $50; which is the fee we are charged to have it done - no exceptions. Emerald Island is a secure gated resort. Every person entering Emerald Island must be registered with security. There are two lanes upon the approach to the security gate. The right lane is for everyone who has already registered and homeowners (both of which have key cards) Simply tap your card and the gate will open for you. The left lane is for guests who are not registered yet. Security will already be aware of your booking, so you simply provide them with ID and license plate number of your vehicle and they will direct you to the clubhouse where you will get your gate access card. The access card is an additional one time fee. The fee is $20 for each vehicle entering the resort This is regardless of length of stay. If your partyhas 3 vehicles, then all 3 vehicles must be registered and pay $20 each to receive an access card. Once registered and you have received your access card(s), you will use the right lane upon entering the resort each time.

The home is equipped with toiletries to get you through until you find time to get to the stores. This includes shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bag, etc...

Please note that there is only 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom and small, single use toiletries. Walmart and Target are both within 3 miles of the resort to get all the supplies you need to get you through your holiday.

Amenities at Emerald Island Resort

The resort has a community pool and spa where you can meet new friends during your stay. Located at clubhouse, it also has a tiki bar which serves drinks and a small array of quick food items, a gym, and a business centre.

There is a beautiful walking trail near the entrance to the resort.

There is a basketball court, beach volleyball court, tennis courts, a mini golf course, bike rentals, and 3 playground areas.


CLUBHOUSE

Open from 8AM to 10PM, our clubhouse includes guest services, our sauna and gym, our main pool, spa and the Tiki Bar. We offer a business center with available printer and meeting rooms.


TIKI BAR

Located poolside at the Clubhouse, our Tiki Bar is open daily from 11am to 9pm, hot foods and snacks, cold beer, wine based liquors, and wine.

POOL AND SPA

Community heated pool and spa are open daily from 8am to 9pm. Located right next to the Tiki Bar should you get hungry or thirsty.

Please be aware that there is no lifeguard on duty and that all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.


SAUNA

Recently renovated, our dry sauna is the perfect thing after a long day walking or playing. Warm those sore muscles.

VOLLEYBALL COURT

Beautifully situated near the main gate, our volleyball court waits for you and your friends and family to come play!

NATURE TRAIL

Nestled

in the heart of the community is 11 acres of natural woodland with a concrete pavement winding through it. A place of solitude and quiet, a place to reflect on the wonders of nature, away from the general bustle of today's busy lifestyle.


SPORTS COURTS

Located next to the Phase 2 gate, our sports courts include tennis, pickle-ball, and basketball.


EXERCISE ROOM

Located in the clubhouse and open daily from 8am to 9pm, our gym is the perfect place to build up your stamina before venturing into the theme parks. You're going to need it.


PLAYGROUNDS

We have three playgrounds, conveniently located throughout the resort.
Not quite The Hulk or Rise of the Resistance, but with a child's imagination these playgrounds can be anywhere they want.

We will do our best to ensure that all photos and descriptions are up to date. If you are booking well in advance, please be advised that certain aspects of the home may be changed due to repair, maintenance, or other reasons. For example, new sofas, bedding, other decor, and more. We will attempt to always have the most current and up-to-date photos and descriptions of the home.

Guest access

All guests will have private access to the full home and the pool deck.

Guests will also have access to everything on the resort. The resort has a community pool and spa, a gym, a tiki bar, a beautiful walking trail through nature, 2 playgrounds, tennis/pickleball courts, basketball court, beach volleyball court, and more. All these are free of charge for guests. There is also a business centre, mini golf course, and bike rentals. These amenities are an additional cost to the guest.
